For an RPG, the game had a surprisingly addicting way to play, it was basically reacting at the right moments to dodge, counter and attack. While it was lots of fun, but I enjoyed Giant Battles the most. During these ''Special Boss'' battles, you play as a giant Luigi against other giant bosses. They're fantastic to look at and the gameplay changes a bit as well. First of all, any stats from the game is temporarily gone. Second of all, you're almost obligated to use the background to hurt the opponent.
The story wasn't anything special, but then again, it was better than the linear storyline most Mario games follow! Now on to my favourite thing of the game: the humour. Holy cow, this game is hilarious. No really, it was one of the funniest games I've ever played!
The only thing I didn't like about it was the recoloring of previous enemies and making them stronger to make a ''new enemy''. This is a pet peeve of mine when it comes to video games, so it's probably only annoying for me.
Anyway, I really enjoyed the game and will try the other Mario and Luigi's whenever I get the chance!
